The Jaipur-Kishangarh BOT project, a segment of the Golden Quadrilateral National Highways Development Project of the Government of India, is yet another instance where GVK has won a concession in a highly competitive context.
The Project, with a value of Rs 7,060 Million (157 Million USD) including a grant of the Rs 2,110 Million (47 Million USD) from the National Highways Authority of India, involves conversion of existing two lanes to six lanes from the KM 273/500 to KM 364/886 stretch of the Jaipur-Kishangarh section of National Highway 8 in Rajasthan State, India. As part of the agreement, GVK has a concession period of 20 years, including construction period, for operating and charging tolls. GVK will operate the Highway and have the technology for tolling. |
